If you are shopping for designer wears and collectibles, Raffles City Shopping Mall would be a good choice. Retailing luxury brands like Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Kate Spade and Victoria’s Secret, which are some of the high-end retail stores here. On the contrary, you can also find Robinsons departmental store here, which displays a huge range of fashion, cosmetics, homeware and toys.

Raffles City Shopping Centre also has some really nice bakeries and restaurants, which includes the Tiong Bahru Bakery, Pu Tien, Sushi Tei, Poulet, Din Tai Fung, Cedele, Brotzeit and Buffet Town. You should definitely look out for these eateries when you are hungry!

  • CityLink Mall

  • Marina Square

Spread over four storeys, this large shopping mall has over 200 tenants. Marina Square is a gem. You can find stores like the Emporium Shokuhin – which has a live seafood market and all things Japanese – snacks as well as great Japanese dining options. They also have a Pororo Park, Shine Korea Supermarket – which is a perfect place to go to if you are craving for some Korean snacks or ramyeon, as certainly can find aplenty here – different brands and flavours! You can’t miss out Midtown Mart too when you are here– they have over 1000 Japanese products in this mart, and they are sold at really affordable prices!

  • Suntec City Mall

This retail and lifestyle destination is one of the largest malls in Singapore. It is divided into four buildings surrounding the ‘Fountain of Wealth’. From entertainment options like movie theatres and karaoke, to retail options like Gudetama café, Marche Movenpick, Peperoni Pizzeria, Old Street Bak Kut Teh, Pasarbella and Astons Specialties, to retail stores like Cotton On, H&M and Factorie, and supermarket like Giant Hyperfresh, what else do you need?!

Also, one surprise at Cityhall is that you can actually walk to Esplanade Theatres on the Bay from here, to enjoy some scenic views of Boat Quay. To navigate there – you can walk to CityLink, and once you reach the end of CityLink, you will see a door which is just beside the escalator to sushi express. You exit the door and just continue heading straight, you will reach Esplanade in around 5 minutes. Other than the mesmerising views of the Singapore River and the skyline, you can also enjoy some popular local eateries recommendations, such as No Signboard Seafood, Makansutra Gluttons Bay, and Supply and Demand. You can then end this beautiful day, with a leisure stroll to see the Merlion, which is just minutes away!
