After that, you can start heading to the summit. There are many paths with vary difficulties which you can embark on, to reach the summit. But, if you would like to get a closer up interactions with nature, you can take route 3, which is the south view path. Once you reach the Simpang Hut, you are pretty much nearing the summit. From here, you can choose between the longer, but gentler gradient route or a steeper, but shorter 200m elevation up the stairs, where you will finally reach the summit and you will see the iconic rock.
The Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is a moderate challenging trail, which will roughly take about a 2-3h hike to reach the summit. So do make sure you wear proper shoes and attire before you embark on this trail.
